Summary
This study looked at whether treating muscle stiffness early after a stroke helps people recover movement better. It compared botulinum toxin injections, oral baclofen pills, and a placebo in 184 adults who had a stroke within the past two months. The main goal was to see if one treatment led to greater improvement in motor function over three months.
