Summary
This study looked at whether teaching people about how their brain and nerves work, combined with a special strength training program, can improve recovery after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery. 29 adults aged 18-40 with an ACL tear took part. The researchers measured changes in leg strength and brain structure and function using MRI scans.
