Walk it off: new study tests early exercise after Weight-Loss surgery

Summary

This study looks at whether starting a supervised walking program soon after obesity surgery, and continuing it at home, can help manage pain and speed up recovery. Researchers will track pain levels, physical function, and quality of life in 112 participants. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to improve recovery after bariatric surgery.
