First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether taking low-dose aspirin early in pregnancy (first trimester) can reduce the risk of serious complications like preeclampsia, early preterm birth, low birth weight, or stillbirth in women with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. The trial involved 137 participants and compared aspirin to a placebo. The goal was to improve pregnancy outcomes by preventing problems related to the placenta.
