Could early diabetes screening in pregnancy prevent birth complications?

Summary
This study tests whether screening for gestational diabetes in the first trimester (instead of later) can detect the condition earlier in high-risk pregnant women. About 80 participants will be enrolled to see if this approach is practical and acceptable. The goal is to improve health outcomes for both mother and baby.
