Summary
This study aims to create a simple, non-invasive test to detect early signs of nerve damage in people with degenerative cervical myelopathy (DCM), a condition that affects balance and coordination. Researchers will test 100 adults aged 50 and older who have evidence of DCM on scans, using physical performance tasks to identify subtle proprioceptive (body awareness) deficits. The goal is to catch problems early and prevent serious disability.
