Scientists hunt for early clues to stop deadly treatment reactions

NCT ID NCT06377059

Summary

This study aims to better predict which blood cancer patients are at high risk for dangerous side effects, like cytokine release syndrome (CRS), after receiving immunotherapy. Researchers will monitor 100 patients continuously with wireless sensors and blood tests to look for early warning signs in their vital signs and immune responses. The goal is to build a model that helps doctors identify patients who need closer hospital monitoring so complications can be caught and treated sooner.
