First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether starting leg cycling within the first week after a traumatic spinal cord injury can reduce complications like pneumonia and pressure sores, and improve nerve recovery. About 102 adults with recent spinal cord injuries will take part. The goal is to see if early movement is safe and helps people regain more function over the next year.
