First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked back at the dental records of 256 people who got lower jaw dental implants. Researchers used panoramic X-rays to measure bone loss around the implants shortly after they were placed and during follow-up visits. The goal was to understand how much bone loss happens early on and what factors might be linked to it.
