Parents fight autism waitlist crisis with online training

NCT ID NCT07081724

Summary

This study tests an online program to help parents start supporting their child's development while waiting for a formal autism diagnosis. It involves 120 toddlers (16-48 months old) whose families are on a waitlist. Half will get access to a self-guided online training with optional clinician support for six months, while the other half waits. The goal is to see if this early action improves children's skills and reduces family stress.
