New strategy aims to outsmart advanced colon cancer by timing targeted drugs
NCT ID NCT04587128
Summary
This study is testing a treatment strategy for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread. It aims to see if using certain targeted drugs (panitumumab or cetuximab) early in treatment, and then possibly using them again later, can better control the cancer. The trial will enroll 71 participants with a specific type of advanced colon cancer to see how well this approach works over up to five years.
