Could a simple timing change save more cardiac arrest patients?

Summary
This study tests whether giving the heart medication amiodarone one cycle earlier than usual during a cardiac arrest can help restore a normal heartbeat faster. About 585 adults who have a shockable heart rhythm after a cardiac arrest outside the hospital will take part. Researchers will compare the time it takes to receive the drug and whether more patients survive to hospital transfer.
