First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tested whether ear acupoint therapy (a type of acupuncture on the ear) can help people recover better after total knee replacement surgery. 116 patients aged 50-80 took part. The therapy aimed to reduce pain, swelling, anxiety, and improve knee movement and scar healing. Results may support adding this simple, low-cost technique to standard recovery plans.
