New drug aims to get heart surgery patients home sooner

Summary
This study is testing if a new drug called EA-230 can help people recover faster after major heart bypass surgery. It aims to see if patients who get the drug during surgery can leave the hospital and intensive care unit sooner and have fewer serious complications. The trial will involve 300 people and neither the doctors nor the patients will know who receives the real drug or a placebo during the study.
