First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a team of doctors, nurses, and other health experts can help African American and Latinx adults with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes lower their blood sugar more than usual care. About 150 participants will either get extra support from the team or continue with their regular doctor visits plus educational materials. The goal is to see if at least 30% of patients in the team group can lower their A1C by 0.5% in 6 months.
