First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving e-cigarettes to smokers with mental illness—who can't or won't quit smoking—helps them switch away from regular cigarettes. Half the participants also get behavioral support via telehealth. The goal is to reduce harmful chemicals and cigarette use, not to cure tobacco dependence.
