New hope for blood cancer patients: experimental drug DZD8586 enters final testing phase

Summary
This study tests a new drug called DZD8586 against standard treatments in about 250 adults whose chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma has come back or stopped responding to prior therapy. The goal is to see if DZD8586 can keep the cancer from growing longer than current options. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either DZD8586 or a treatment chosen by their doctor.
