New hope for Tough-to-Treat blood cancers: DZD8586 trial opens

Summary
This study tests a new drug, DZD8586, in about 155 adults whose chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma has returned, stopped responding to prior treatment, or caused unbearable side effects. The goal is to see how well the drug shrinks tumors and what side effects it may cause. Participants take the drug alone, and researchers will also measure drug levels in the body.
