Period pain study aims to uncover hidden health impacts
NCT ID NCT07341685
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will compare 70 women with and without primary dysmenorrhea (painful periods) to see how the condition affects pain sensitivity, joint flexibility, physical activity, breathing strength, attitudes about menstruation, and mood. Researchers hope to identify key areas affected by period pain to improve treatment and awareness. Participants must be 18-35, have regular cycles, and no other pelvic or chronic diseases.
