New drug combo aims to stall advanced lung cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding olaparib to durvalumab can keep stage IV non-small cell lung cancer from growing longer than durvalumab alone. About 400 adults whose cancer did not worsen after initial chemotherapy and durvalumab will receive either the combination or a placebo as maintenance therapy. The goal is to see if the combination extends the time before the cancer progresses.
