NCT ID NCT04945720

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested a combination of an immunotherapy drug (durvalumab) and chemotherapy delivered directly to the liver (HAIC) in 30 adults with advanced liver cancer that had spread into the main portal vein. The goal was to see if the combination could improve one-year survival. Participants received the treatment as an open-label, single-arm regimen. The study is completed, and results will help determine if this approach is safe and effective for this difficult-to-treat condition.
