First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding the immunotherapy drug durvalumab to standard chemotherapy (doxorubicin) could help people with advanced soft tissue sarcoma that has spread or come back. The trial included 44 adults with confirmed sarcoma. The main goal was to check safety and how well the combination works. This approach aims to control the disease and improve survival, not to cure it.
