Eczema patients may need fewer injections: new study tests a step-down strategy
NCT ID NCT05642208
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people with well-controlled atopic dermatitis (eczema) can safely take dupilumab less often without losing control of their disease. About 256 teens and adults who have been on the standard every-2-week dose for at least a year will either stay on that schedule or gradually space out their injections. The goal is to see if the step-down approach is just as good at keeping symptoms away over one year.
