New hope for kids with rare gut disease: dupilumab trial launches

NCT ID NCT07257835

First seen Dec 11, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether dupilumab can help children with severe eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders (EGIDs) that haven't responded to other treatments. About 20 kids will receive the drug to see if it can heal ulcers and reduce inflammation in the gut. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it, and children may need ongoing treatment.
