First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested a drug called dupilumab in 41 people aged 12 to 70 with eosinophilic gastritis, a condition where too many immune cells cause stomach inflammation. Participants received either dupilumab or a placebo injection every two weeks for 12 weeks, with an option to continue treatment for 24 more weeks. The main goal was to see if dupilumab could reduce the number of these immune cells in the stomach lining.
