New drug combo targets Hard-to-Cure leukemia in early trial

Summary
This early-phase study tests whether combining two targeted drugs, SNDX-5613 and gilteritinib, is safe and effective for adults with a specific type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has returned or not responded to treatment. The leukemia must have a FLT3 gene mutation plus either an NPM1 mutation or an MLL rearrangement. The goal is to find the best dose and check for side effects in about 30 participants.
