Double hardware approach aims to heal tough wrist breaks
NCT ID NCT07440251
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical technique for difficult-to-treat fractures of the small bone in the wrist (ulna). Doctors are combining two types of metal hardware—a flexible nail inside the bone and a small plate on the outside—to see if it provides stronger, more stable fixation. The goal is to help the bone heal properly so patients can start moving their wrist sooner and avoid complications.
