Summary
This study tested a combination of two targeted drugs, afatinib and cetuximab, in 50 adults with advanced head and neck cancer that had already been treated with chemotherapy or immunotherapy. The goal was to see if the drug pair could shrink tumors. The study measured how many patients had their tumors shrink significantly and how long they lived without the cancer growing.
