First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests a new speech therapy called DTTC-Connect for children with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), a disorder that makes it hard to say words clearly. The therapy helps children move from saying single words to speaking in short phrases. 68 children aged 3 to 12 will receive the therapy twice a week for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if it improves their phrase accuracy and makes their speech easier to understand.
