First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests a drug called DS-8201a (trastuzumab deruxtecan) in people aged 12 to 39 with HER2-positive osteosarcoma that has returned. The drug works like a smart bomb, attaching to HER2 on cancer cells and delivering chemotherapy directly to them. The main goal is to see if it can stop the cancer from growing for at least 24 weeks. The trial is currently suspended.
