Dry needling vs. placebo: which really soothes knots in your neck?

Summary
This study looks at whether dry needling can reduce pain from trigger points (tight, tender spots) in the trapezius muscle, which runs from the neck to the shoulders. About 70 adults with myofascial pain will receive either dry needling or a placebo treatment. Researchers will use special muscle tests and daily pain surveys to see if the treatment works.
