First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a 10-week dry-land strength and conditioning program to regular swim training helps competitive swimmers aged 12 to 21 improve their starts and turns. About 38 swimmers from York City Baths Club will take part, doing two gym sessions per week. Researchers will measure swim times, jump height, and strength before, during, and after the program.
