New eye drop aims to soothe dry eyes better than current option

Summary
This study tested a new eye drop called HUC3-053 against a standard drop (Hyalein) in 297 adults with dry eye syndrome. Participants used the drops 5-6 times a day for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if the new drop works as well or better at reducing eye surface damage and improving symptoms.
