Healthy volunteers help uncover drug interactions

NCT ID NCT07222098

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study looked at how a single dose of an experimental drug, MK-1084, changes the way the body processes two common medications: rosuvastatin (for cholesterol) and metformin (for diabetes). Sixteen healthy adults took part in a crossover design where each person received the medications with and without MK-1084. The goal was to measure drug levels in the blood over time to see if there is an interaction.
