Scientists test new Drug's hidden effects on common medicines
NCT ID NCT05444556
Summary
This early-stage study aims to understand how an experimental breast cancer drug, imlunestrant, might affect how the body processes several common medications. Researchers enrolled 113 healthy female volunteers who cannot become pregnant to measure drug levels in the blood when imlunestrant is given with other drugs. The goal is to identify potential interactions to ensure future patients can safely take imlunestrant alongside their other medicines.
