Can you drive home after surgery? new study tests anesthesia effects
NCT ID NCT00577200
Summary
This study aims to find out if patients can drive safely immediately after minor surgery using short-acting anesthesia. Researchers will test different anesthesia combinations on patients and measure their driving skills using a simulator right after their procedure. The goal is to see if the current 24-hour driving restriction is still necessary with modern anesthesia.
