First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study will follow 100 adults who are having a hip or knee replacement to learn about their experiences with surgical dressings and how they care for their wound at home. Researchers will check how well patients follow a wound care checklist and track any complications like infection or blistering for 12 weeks after surgery. The goal is to improve education and support for wound self-care after joint replacement.
