First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study follows 100 adults who are having a hip or knee replacement to learn about their experiences with surgical dressings and how they care for their wound at home. Researchers will check how well patients follow a wound care checklist, how comfortable the dressings are, and whether any wound problems like infection or blistering occur in the 12 weeks after surgery. The goal is to improve education and support for patients after joint replacement.
