This study tests a new procedure that uses electrical pulses to rejuvenate the lining of the first part of the small intestine (duodenum) in people recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if this can help control blood sugar and possibly allow participants to stop taking diabetes medications. The study will enroll 40 adults who have had diabetes for less than 2 years and are on 0-1 oral medications.
