NICU families get a helping hand: doula study aims to lower stress

Summary
This study looks at whether pairing families who have a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a community doula can lower their stress. About 60 families will take part. Some will get weekly doula visits for six weeks, while others receive standard care. Researchers will compare stress levels, blood pressure, and anxiety between the two groups.
