First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether pairing families who have a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a community doula can help lower their stress. About 60 families will take part. Some will get weekly doula support for six weeks, while others will receive standard care. Researchers will compare stress levels, blood pressure, and anxiety between the two groups.
