Can doulas break the cycle of abuse for expectant mothers?

NCT ID NCT07165860

Summary

This study is testing whether pairing pregnant survivors of intimate partner violence with specially trained doulas can help reduce abuse and improve well-being. It will compare doula support to standard victim services over a year. The goal is to see if continuous emotional and practical support from pregnancy through early motherhood makes a difference in safety and health.
