Double shockwave in one week: a new way to blast kidney stones faster?
NCT ID NCT07421843
First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving two shockwave treatments in the same week is just as safe and effective as waiting three weeks between treatments for kidney stones that are 8 to 15 mm in size. About 600 adults with kidney stones will be invited to join. The goal is to see if a faster schedule can clear stones sooner without causing more complications.
