First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested whether using a computer program to predict the right dose of blood pressure medication works better for people with liver cirrhosis. Forty participants with cirrhosis and high blood pressure received either nebivolol or carvedilol at doses suggested by the program. Researchers monitored blood pressure, liver function, and side effects over three months to see if the personalized dosing was safe and effective.
