Spreading out spine radiation may cut side effects while easing pain
NCT ID NCT04802603
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study is for people with cancer that has spread to the spine. Instead of the usual 1 or 2 high-dose radiation sessions, researchers are testing a 5-session approach that gives smaller doses each time. The goal is to see if this method is easier to tolerate and still provides good pain relief. About 60 adults with spine metastases will take part.
