Last-Resort stomach drug offered to desperate patients
NCT ID NCT04996134
Summary
This program provided access to domperidone, a medication that helps move food through the stomach, for patients with severe digestive disorders like gastroparesis. It was designed for people aged 12 and older who had not improved with standard treatments. The program carefully screened patients for heart risks, as the drug can have serious side effects.
