Paws for relief: can therapy dogs ease fibromyalgia pain?

Summary
This study is testing whether a structured program of dog-assisted therapy can help reduce pain, anxiety, and depression, and improve daily functioning for people with fibromyalgia. It involves 60 Portuguese patients who will attend group sessions with trained therapy dogs over several months. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms immediately after the program and track if benefits last for 6 and 12 months.
