Summary
This study looks at whether adopting and training a shelter dog can help veterans with post-traumatic stress symptoms. Over 10 weeks, 120 veterans will attend dog training sessions and have their symptoms, stress levels, and brain activity measured. The goal is to see if this program can reduce PTSD symptoms and improve overall mental health.
