First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at 320 men having HoLEP surgery for an enlarged prostate. It compares two types of anesthesia—general (you are fully asleep) and spinal (you are awake but numb from the waist down)—to see if one causes less bleeding or helps you recover faster. The goal is to find out which anesthesia is safer and more efficient for this common procedure.
