Anesthesia choice may impact prostate surgery bleeding

Summary

This study will observe 320 men having HoLEP surgery for an enlarged prostate to see if general or spinal anesthesia leads to less bleeding and faster recovery. Researchers will track hemoglobin changes, side effects, and symptom scores three months after surgery. The goal is to help doctors choose the safest anesthesia for this common procedure.
